DGC was founded in 2009 to provide grant research and proposal writing, including proposal editing and submission, and writing and submitting all grant reports for nonprofit clients. The LLC has been in business for over 14 years. The team has worked with large and small 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations to secure over $133 million in funding. DGC is a full-service grant research and writing firm. The business was created when the DCG founder saw the difficulty many nonprofits have applying for and winning grants, especially complex federal, state, and county grants. Once the grants were awarded, there was also a need for implementing data collection and reporting tools and writing, editing, and submitting all grant reports, so DGC added Grant Reporting to its suite of services. 
The DGC team also has experience working with Board Members to conduct annual strategic planning and to develop a comprehensive strategic plan to share with donors and submit with grant requests. This document usually covers a period from one to five years. A strategic plan may be a requirement for some private foundation grants and shows a level of expertise and sophistication from the nonprofit. This living document can be updated annually by DGC staff and the nonprofit team.

DGC achieves this by taking the time to meet with each organization to develop well-researched and written, high-quality grant proposals and reports, as well as strategic planning workshops and documents. We aim to reduce the staff time and resources needed by our clients to complete the grant writing and reporting process and to provide expert guidance and insight on all required grant documents.
